Returns and Refunds policy

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You must contact us in regards to a return or issue within 14 days of receiving your item.

You will be refunded upon receipt of your item, unless the item was not accepted as a return, or, of course, the item is damaged upon arrival and not at the fault of the shipping company (example: the box arrives in good condition but the item is clearly damaged and/or used).

***Your item is not eligible for returns or refunds if it is in any way customized, personalized, or individualized. Your item is not eligible for a refund if it is in any way damaged, altered, or used. 

Returns are issued after receiving the items and are subject to a thorough inspection. All items must be returns with the tags on it and unused. 

If your item is in any way altered, damaged or not in the same pristine condition as you received it, a refund will not be issued.

If there are any concerns, questions or issues with an order, please contact us. We will be more than happy to help in any way we can. We strive to make every transaction a positive and memorable experience.

To request a return, contact us at designstudiobykris@gmail.com. If your return request is accepted we will send you an email with approval confirmation, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Shipping costs for returns or exchanges are the responsibility of the customer. 

***Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be refunded.***

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If the item is damaged and at the fault of the Postal Service, we urge you to deny acceptance of your package so that we are able to file a claim through our shipping carrier. This is the fastest and most effective way to rectify the situation. When we receive the damaged item(s), we will issue a refund or send a new item(s) to you. You are not responsible for any return shipping costs associated with damaged or defective items. 

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), pet treats, used items (beds that and other goods that no longer have a tag and contain any fur or debris), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not sell or accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

We do not accept returns on personalized or custom items, sale items, consumables or gift cards.

 

Exchanges
We accept exchanges if the item you ordered is not what you envisioned and you would like a different size or colour. This must be done immediately upon receipt of the item and you must return it with the tags on and unused.

The fastest way to ensure you get the item that you want is to return the item you have, and make a separate purchase for the new item. Once the return is accepted, we will issue the refund for the returned item.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund is approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If the refund is not approved, you will be notified with an explanation as to why.
